The Hope for Homes program empowers seniors and veterans to rebuild their lives through safe housing, financial education, and compassionate community support. We partner with local agencies to provide stability, dignity, and independence for those facing housing insecurity. Our mission is simple yet powerful—to create lasting change, one home and one life at a time.

We lease homes in safe neighborhoods and rent space to veterans, seniors, disabled individuals, or anyone who finds themselves down on their luck with no place to go.

Our organization assists with the following:

1. HFHP will place you in a safe house and help you find long-term solutions to your housing needs.
2. HFHP will help you file for benefits if eligible and needed.
3. HFHP will offer guidance and help in getting your life back in order while living in a safe home.

Our homes are designed for independent individuals or couples and are not suitable for children due to safety risks, such as accidental access to medication.

A background check is required for all applicants. While minor infractions may be overlooked, any history of violent crime or theft will disqualify an applicant.

Please note that mobility accessibility varies; very few of our homes are fully wheelchair-accessible.

Cleanliness is a shared expectation. All residents are required to maintain personal hygiene, keep their living spaces clean, and fairly divide household chores.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING:

1. A rental agreement must be reviewed and signed by all residents, even if you plan to stay a month.
2. Agreed-upon rent must be paid on time each month.
3. We encourage each individual to be become financially responsible for their rent and food expenses.

Our program is a “HAND UP” not a “HAND OUT”.

As long as your rent is paid and you cause no disruption to the other residents, you can stay in our safe family homes.
